All the Times Donald Trump’s Hairdo Just Barely Kept It Together
President Donald Trump‘s questionable hairstyle may be one of the most memorable political anomalies of our time. Then again, it has become wildly apparent that anything is possible, and the future still has great potential to become even more of a chin-scratcher. Nevertheless, Trump’s comb-over will forever be an orange, swirling mystery.
Below, check out all of the times Trump’s hairdo just barely kept it together.
1. Hairs flying high
As many of us know, boarding a plane can present its share of wily conditions, especially when you’re trying to keep a presidential comb-over in place. Trump’s locks were caught red-handed trying to fly away as he boarded Air Force One bound for the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

2. Another day, another fly-away
It’s become clear that Trump’s hairdo faces the most trouble when Mother Nature comes a-knocking. After all, the wind is not typically a friend to even the best head of hair days. It comes as no surprise that yet again, Trump’s locks just could not behave themselves as the president boarded Air Force One in early February 2018.

3. When the windblown look just doesn’t work
For a biker or a surfer, the windblown look is almost always a good one, but for a man on a mission (like Trump), it’s less than becoming. And let’s face it: When your hairs are circumnavigating your head, there are just too many opportunities for the wind to have its way with it.

4. Ready for takeoff
As Trump boards Air Force One for a jaunt up to New York City, his hair appeared to be equally prepared for takeoff. Perhaps luck was on his side or a new product was able to keep his look more intact. But either way, the president just barely sidestepped a full-on hair-tastrophe.

5. Gale force winds are no joke
Although Trump appears to be doing his best to grin and bear it, his look was quite disheveled after arriving in Indianapolis in December 2016. From the exposed Scotch tape on the underbelly of his tie to his grim look of intensity, the president looked like he was battling gale force winds on the tarmac. And it’s fair to say this time around, the wind won.

6. Maiden voyage hair fail
Excitement abounded as Trump returned from his maiden voyage on Air Force One as president of the United States back in January 2017. While the trip to Philadelphia may have been one of great success, his hairdo not so much. But you can rest-assured the bad hair day didn’t stop the president from trying to schmooze the crowds.

7. The 411 on the infamous do
The reality is that everyone needed an explanation of exactly what was happening with the mop on top of Trump’s head. As told to Playboy, here’s the president’s daily hair routine:
“I get up, take a shower and wash my hair. Then I read the newspapers and watch the news on television, and slowly the hair dries. It takes about an hour. I don’t use the blow dryer. Once it’s dry I comb it. Once I have it the way I like it — even though nobody else likes it — I spray it and it’s good for the day.”
