10 Best Android and iOS Apps for Food Delivery

Food delivery is one of the greatest inventions of the on-demand economy. Dozens of apps — including sharing economy king Uber — make it easy to order food from favorite restaurants and hidden gems in your city. Maybe you’ve run out of ingredients to cook. Perhaps you’re hoping to relax instead of worry about finding dinner. Or maybe you want to focus on working instead of venturing away from your office. In any case, delivery apps can help. Just find the restaurant or cuisine you want, and your food will be on its way.

For Android users and iPhone owners, there are dozens of food delivery apps in the app store. That makes finding the right one a challenge. Not every on-demand startup offers its delivery services in every city. And with the wide array of options, it’s difficult to keep straight exactly who does what. (It can also be confusing to figure out how much each app charges for delivery.) So we’ve made things easier with a list of our favorite food delivery apps.
