If you know what to look for, Black Friday can be the perfect time to get some great deals on electronics. Stores both online and off offer great Black Friday deals on many tech products. And while some Black Friday promotions aren’t worth it, many are worth the trouble if you’re in the market for a relatively expensive gadget like a TV, a laptop, or even a smartphone.
If there’s one company that’s notorious for rarely offering discounts, it’s Apple. The best promotion that Apple offers is usually a sale that combines a gift card with a popular device, which doesn’t end up saving you a lot of money. Fortunately for bargain-hunting Apple fans, other retailers offer good Black Friday deals on Apple products. We’ve collected this year’s best Black Friday deals on iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, Macs, and other Apple gadgets. You can even look forward to some deals on the new iPhone 7.
Black Friday deals on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus
1. Best Buy: Free $250 gift card with iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus
According to BGR, Best Buy will offer a free $250 gift card with an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus purchase on a qualifying installment billing agreement from AT&T, Sprint, or Verizon. CNET notes that if you buy an iPhone 7 (not an iPhone 7 Plus), on an AT&T Next, Verizon Device, or Sprint 24-month installment plan, Best Buy will give you a store gift card. The 256GB model comes with a $250 gift card, but it’s an in-store deal only. If you buy a 32GB or 128GB iPhone 7 either in-store or online, you’ll still receive a gift card, but for less than $250. Get the details with Best Buy’s Black Friday ad.
2. Target: Free $250 gift card with iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus
BGR reports that Target will offer a $250 gift card with the purchase of an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus. CNET also notes that you’ll get a $250 Target gift card if you buy either an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus. The deal will be offered exclusively in-store. You’ll need to buy the iPhone on an AT&T Next, Verizon Device, or Sprint 24-month installment or leasing plan. Get the details with Target’s Black Friday ad.

Target, for instance, will offer the Apple Watch Series 2 starting at $369. BGR reports that the price will apply to the 42mm Apple Watch Series 2 in the Space Gray Aluminum Case with a Black Sport Band, and the device will be “$30 cheaper than what you’ll find anywhere else.”

8. Target: Apple Watch Series 1 starting at $198
According to BGR, Target will offer the Apple Watch Series 1 starting at $198, a discount that will save you $71.98 against Apple’s $269 starting price. The Apple Watch Series 1 has a faster processor than the original device, but isn’t fully swim-proof. It also lacks the GPS of the Apple Watch Series 2. CNET notes that “this is a good Apple Watch model, and the best deal out there we’ve seen.” But according to BGR, shoppers will “have to be content with the Rose Gold Aluminum model with the Pink Sand Sport Band.”
9. Best Buy: Apple Watch Series 1 for $219
BGR reports that Best Buy is selling the Rose Gold Aluminum model with the Pink Sand Sport Band — the same model on sale at Target — for $219. That’s a $50 discount — not quite as steep as the sale offered at Target, but still a sizable discount. BGR reports that the following 38mm Apple Watch Series 1 models will also be available for $219, if Rose Gold isn’t your colorway of choice: Space Gray Aluminum with the Black Sport Band, Silver Aluminum with the White Sport Band, and Gold Aluminum with the Concrete Sport Band.
10. Best Buy: Apple Watch Series 1 for $249
BGR reports that if you’re in the market for a 42mm Apple Watch, you’ll also be in luck at Best Buy come Black Friday. The store will offer the following models for $249 (a $50 discount): Gold Aluminum Case with the Cocoa Sport Band, Rose Gold Aluminum with the Midnight Blue Sport Band, Silver Aluminum with the White Sport Band, and Space Gray Aluminum with the Black Sport Band.
11. Kohl’s: $75 Kohl’s cash with purchase of Rose Gold Apple Watch Series 1

16. Target: iPad Air 2 starting at $274
BGR reports that Target will offer the iPad Air 2 starting at $274. The discount will save you $125.99. The iPad Air 2 should be a favorite this holiday season among shoppers looking for a more affordable iPad. The iPad Air 2 has an A8X processor (versus the A7 on the iPad mini 2). CNET notes that Target’s $274 Black Friday sale price is a good deal for the 32GB base model.

CNET notes that the 13-inch, 128GB model of the MacBook Air will be on sale for $799 at Best Buy, which is “the lowest price we’ve seen yet for a MacBook.” The 256GB model is $999, which is “also not a bad deal.” Both promotions save a couple hundred dollars, though you should keep in mind the fact that the MacBook Air doesn’t have a Retina Display. However, it does have great battery life and “normal” USB ports.
Black Friday deals on the iMac
21. Best Buy: $200 off a 27-inch or 21.5-inch iMac
MacRumors reports that Best Buy is discounting the 27-inch 5K Retina iMac with a 3.2GHz Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 1TB hard drive by $200. That means that the price will fall from $1,799.99 to $1,599.99. The store will also discount the 21.5-inch iMac with a 1.6GHz Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 1TB hard drive by $200.
