13 Men’s Products Worth Splurging On

You might think your bathroom is all good with a bar of soap, deodorant, and shampoo. And, on the rare occasion you opt for something more, why not just reach for your significant other’s moisturizer? Think twice. When it comes to skincare, men and women are not created equally. In fact, for the most part, guys need to purchase men’s products. Male skin is thicker, meaning it needs products that absorb more readily into the skin; it also tends to be oilier and warmer since there are more blood vessels. While this doesn’t mean you have to go out and fill your vanity with clutter (when you’re using the right products, you actually don’t need much), surrendering yourself to the joys of skincare pampering might be just what’s missing from your daily routine.

Here’s to channeling your inner Patrick Bateman.

When in doubt the answer is always Tom Ford. One of the designer’s latest launches for men includes three conditioning beard oils (and a comb!) that moisturize facial hair while imparting one of three signature scents: Tobacco Vanille, Neroli Portofino, or Oud Wood. The lightweight formulation will work even for fine beards, and the scent/formulation is concentrated, so very little is needed.
