The cashmere keeps it soft and cozy while the slightly relaxed silhouette keeps things 9-to-5-ready. But the short-sleeve style also means that this is the perfect layering piece for when you want to add some warmth to your outfit without dealing with a bulkier style.
8. Topshop funnel neck sweater
For those of us who are perpetually cold from November to March, there’s nothing better than a chunky sweater with a funnel neck. Topshop’s stripe-cuff sweater is our favorite take on the style this season. It features a chunky weave, a marled look, and a cozy funnel neck. It’s made even better by the contrasting cuff, which adds a little bit of visual interest, which is welcome on the coldest, greyest days.
9. Vince ribbed crewneck sweater
A fitted ribbed sweater is the perfect style for days when you’re tried of wearing chunky layers. Vince’s ribbed crewneck is a perfect take on the style, with a lightweight cashmere knit and a fitted silhouette. Even better? This sweater comes in the perfect variety of colors, which makes it the perfect way to add some color to an all-black ensemble.
10. Vince turtleneck sweater
A black turtleneck sweater is an extremely versatile way to go when sweater-shopping. One of our favorites this year is Vince’s cowl turtleneck sweater. It’s made of wool for extra warmth, and features a flattering, fitted silhouette. (Translation: This isn’t the kind of turtleneck that’ll be a struggle to layer under your favorite fall and winter jackets and coats.)
