The holidays are almost upon us. And if ads for Black Friday sales, turkey stock-ups in your grocery store, and Christmas layaway commercials are any indicator, it’s never too early to get into the holiday spirit. The Christmas countdown begins, and soon it’ll be time to decorate and get drunk on eggnog. In addition, this year calls for something different — a way to be festive, if you will, and you can certainly get a jump start on it during Movember.

What is it? Christmas Baubles for your beard. What better way to capitalize on the over-saturation of the bearded trend or what The Guardian declared as “peak beard?” The beard trend doesn’t seem to show any signs of slowing down, meaning there are plenty of them just waiting to be decorated. Although 2014 may have been the year of the beard, holiday season 2015 belongs to the beard bauble, small decorative items that hang from your beard. Plus, it’s cheaper than going out and buying a Christmas tree, and a creative alternative to decorating for the season.

These clip-on Christmas decorations will turn your face into a glittering festive centerpiece, spruce up your annual seasons greetings holiday family photo, and are a surefire conversation starter at your annual company Christmas or holiday party. Creative London advertsing agency, Grey London, is responsible for coming up with this strange, yet unique product, that was wildly popular last holiday season, functioning as a creative alternative to the ugly holiday sweater trend. Ollie Dearn, who works at the agency behind the Yuletide facial hair accessory said to the Daily Mail, that although it was particularly popular with Bristish consumers, Americans also have a sweet spot for the product. Each bauble pack contains 14 multicoloured baubles to attach to the bristles — 10 large balls and four small ones.

If you end up ordering them and not being too fond of the baubles (although why would anyone be unhappy with them?), the bauble craze is also a hit with man’s best friend. “We’ve heard about hairy dogs wearing Beard Baubles too,” adds Dearn. It has since spawned imitators, although though there is nothing quite like the original.

When you purchase the beard baubles from beardbaubles.tictail.com, all proceeds from the baubles go to Beardseason, an initiative to raise awareness for the fight against Melanoma that is encouraging men to grow out their beard during the month of December. Happy almost holiday season!
