Almost Every Trump Woman Has This 1 Thing in Common

Women in Donald Trump’s family have a lot in common, aside from their last names. They also have their differences, and don’t always get along.

Despite this, there’s one common trait most of them share. Looking back at their careers, it seems they have one common interest that shaped their lives as young professionals.

Trump men seem to have a thing for models, though it could be a coincidence. Donald Trump has been married to three of them, and his daughters have taken after their mothers, at least briefly. His sons’ wives — all but one of them — are all also former models. They’ve all since moved on to different careers. Here’s what they’re up to now.

Ivanka began her modeling career as a teenager, appearing on the cover of Seventeen magazine when she was just 15. Aside from her part in the Trump family business, she also owns her own clothing line, which has become one of her greatest controversies.

Like most of the women in her soon-to-be ex-husband’s family, Vanessa spent much of her teens and 20s on runways. She’s also dabbled in fashion design, releasing her own line of handbags. In the early 2000s, she opened a nightclub with her sister.

In 2016, Tiffany modeled in her very first show — during New York Fashion Week, a surprising place for a first walk down the runway. She has also interned for Vogue and Warby Parker, so even if her modeling career never takes off, it’s likely she’ll somehow follow in Ivanka’s fashionable footsteps.

Before she moved to New York to pursue a career in modeling — where she eventually met Donald Trump — Ivana trained as a skier, and eventually worked as a ski instructor. Now, when she’s not feuding with Melania, she’s either writing or promoting her own line of California wines.

The black sheep? Lara Trump

Eric Trump’s wife followed a different career path than the other women in her husband’s family. She briefly owned and operated a cake baking business, and worked as a TV producer before quitting her job to work on Donald Trump’s presidential campaign full-time.
