In celebration of National S’mores Day on August 10, Dunkin’ Donuts released a special S’Mores Donut. The tasty treat is covered in all the things most people crave, such as chocolate and marshmallows. If you want to try this donut be aware that it is a limited edition and only available at participating Dunkin’ Donuts locations. But how much will this indulgence cost you in terms of calories?

Here’s how many calories are in the Dunkin’ Donuts S’mores donut.

S’mores comes to Dunkin’ Donuts

Dunkin’ Donuts first introduced its S’mores donut in 2017. The donut features toasted marshmallow-flavored filling, S’mores topping made with real Hershey’s chocolate, and crumbled graham crackers. If you’re a big S’mores fan, you’ll be delighted to know Dunkin’ Donuts also has S’mores-flavored coffee. You can get the new beverage in hot and iced coffees, lattes, and macchiatos.

The S’mores donut contains enriched unbleached wheat flour, palm oil, water, dextrose, soybean oil, whey, skim milk, and yeast. There is also 2% or less of salt, leavening, defatted soy flour, wheat starch, mono and diglycerides, sodium stearoyl lactylate, cellulose gum, soy lecithin, guar gum, xanthan gum, artificial flavor, sodium caseinate (this is a milk derivative), enzyme, colors (turmeric and annatto extracts, beta carotene), and eggs. How many calories are in Dunkin’ Donuts S’mores donuts?

If you’re on a diet, this donut might set you back. One Dunkin’ Donuts S’mores donut is 430 calories according to the company’s nutrition information. There are 390 milligrams of sodium, 24 grams of sugar, and 25 grams of fat. You’ll also get some fiber with this donut, but it’s just 1 gram. In addition, this donut has a 2% daily value of vitamin A, 2% calcium, and 10% iron.

If you’re looking for an option with fewer calories, consider a glazed donut. The glazed donut has 260 calories. There are 330 milligrams of sodium, 12 grams of sugar, and 14 grams of fat. This donut also has  some fiber, but you’ll only get 1 gram. Furthermore, this donut has a 2% daily value of vitamin A and 6% iron.

If you’re not a fan of glazed donuts, an even lower-calorie option is a French cruller, which has 220 calories. There are 170 milligrams of sodium, 10 grams of sugar, and 13 grams of fat. Furthermore, this donut has 55 milligrams of cholesterol, 3 grams of protein, 23 grams of carbohydrates, and a 6% daily value of iron.
