The Dark Secrets Behind Hope Hicks’ Alleged Affair With a Married Man
Despite her efforts to keep a low profile, the spotlight has been on Hope Hicks lately. There has been buzz about her impending resignation, her admission to lying for Donald Trump, and her personal relationships. One relationship in particular has recently come under the microscope. White House insiders said Hicks has been romantically involved with a man who is definitely not single.
Here are the dark secrets behind Hope Hicks’ alleged affair with a married man.
Bad taste in men?
Shortly after Hicks’ resignation, Donald Trump’s ghost writer for Art of the Deal, Tony Schwartz, had some interesting thoughts to share about Hope Hicks. He got on Twitter and blasted Hicks, saying she had poor judgment when it came to choosing a partner. Said Schwartz on Twitter:
Hope Hicks is an enabler with spectacularly bad taste in men who ended up in a hell of her own making. She’s lived too much too soon. I’m sure there is a moral in this story, but for the life of me, I can’t figure out what it is.
Next: Are they, or aren’t they?
Hicks’ alleged relationship with former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski has recently received a lot of attention. This is because former White House aide Sam Nunberg went on CNN and claimed Lewandowski and Hicks were having an affair. Fire and Fury author Michael Wolff also alludes to an affair between the former co-workers in his book. Wolff claims Trump said Hicks is the “best piece of tail [Lewandowski will] ever have.”

Corey fawned over Hope in his book
It seems as if Lewandowski likes Hicks a lot. In his tell-all book, Let Trump Be Trump, Lewandowski speaks fondly of Hicks. At one point he even mentions her beauty, describing her as “good looking.” He also said she was “smart” and had a “nearly photographic memory.” They way he addresses her in his book shows that he is quite taken by her.
Next: Things started to go bad.
A lover’s quarrel?
The good vibes between Hicks and Lewandowski didn’t last long. Hicks got some unwanted attention back in 2016 when she was spotted engaging in a screaming match with Lewandowski, reports The New York Post. They were seen on a Manhattan street yelling at each other as people walked by.
No one seems to know what the screaming match was about, but considering the affair allegations, it could have been a lover’s quarrel. A witness told the newspaper, “Hope was screaming at Corey, ‘I am done with you!’ It was ugly. She was doubled over with her fists clenched. He stood there looking shocked with his hands on his head.”
Next: Corey doesn’t have a great track record with the ladies.
A troublesome history
Lewandowski has been accused of behaving inappropriately toward women. In March 2016, he was charged with battery by Jupiter, Florida police. Lewandowski was accused of grabbing former Breitbart News reporter Michelle Fields as she tried to ask Trump a question. (The charges were later dropped.) Furthermore, in 2017, Lewandowski was accused of sexual assault by singer Joy Villa, reports CNN. The singer says Lewandowski slapped her on the buttocks twice while they were posing for a picture.

Some think Hope Hicks might have also had an affair with this man
Some have even speculated Hicks was having an affair with Donald Trump. It’s no secret he likes models, so it’s not too far-fetched if the rumors are true. One of the reasons some think Hicks and Trump have a closer relationship that they’re letting on is the fact that he gave her special perks. She was also around him constantly (and don’t forget all the pet names Trump gave her). New York Times writer Michael M. Grynbaum noted their close relationship:
Suddenly, she found herself a near-constant presence by Mr. Trump’s side, flying in his jet, living rent-free in a Trump-owned apartment and attending to his mercurial moods.
Next: He’s her everything.
Donald Trump is ‘everything’ to Hope Hicks
Whenever Hicks speaks about Trump, it’s always with glowing approval. Her statements about him have a sort of teen-crush quality to them. In a 2016 interview with Forbes, she said Donald Trump is “everything.” When asked by the reporter if she has a dream client, Hicks responds, “Yes, Donald Trump. He’s everything. There’s nobody else. Nobody,” said Hicks. Then there’s a statement Hicks released in which she said Trump “has a magnetic personality” and “an amazing ability to make people feel special.”
