While Kim Kardashian may get paid to indulge in Atkins meals, the reality star was a loyal follower of the diet plan long before she was a reality show icon. To keep up with her diet, the star follows the Atkins 40 diet, a meal plan that consists of 40 grams of carbs per day.
As a busy mom and celebrity, Kardashian nourishes her body with a variety of different Atkins meals, as well as healthy snacks.
There is no such thing as a cheat day, even on vacation
Kim Kardashian may go on extravagant family vacations, but that doesn’t mean she blows her diet on cheat meals. Instead, Kardashian opts for lower calorie options. “There’s always protein on the menu and you have it with salad with olive oil and cooked vegetables with butter on it,” Colette Heimowitz, Kardashians nutritionist, shared with ELLE Magazine. “[Then] you can have a little rice or starch on the side,” she added.
Drink half a gallon of water every day
One of the most important aspects of Kardashian’s diet? Staying hydrated. Between her busy schedule and intense workouts, the reality star drinks about 64 ounces of water a day.
Have a goal weight to keep you on track
In addition to staying hydrating and on track with her diet, Kim Kardashian keeps a goal weight in mind to help her stay on track. According to PEOPLE, that weight is 120 pounds.
Eat dessert every day
While she may be strict with her diet, that doesn’t stop Kim Kardashian from indulging in dessert. That said, she’s not exactly reaching for a pint of ice cream every night. Instead, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star treats herself to Atkins Endulge Peanut Butter Cups.

In addition to the above diet rules, Kim Kardashian has one tip she swears by. The reality star typically eats between 1,500-1,800 calories a day — but, no more than 1,800. This has helped the star reach and maintain her goal weight while juggling a busy lifestyle.
