Inside Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Bridal Party (and the 1 Who Stole the Show)

When Prince Harry married Meghan Markle, their wedding became one of the most historical royal events of all time. As if Meghan and Harry weren’t mesmerizing enough on their own, their bridal party turned out to be absolutely stunning — and, just like the couple’s first kiss, absolutely unforgettable.

Since Meghan Markle didn’t have a maid of honor, and it’s customary for children to make up the majority of every royal wedding’s bridal party, no member was over 7. They were all too cute not to notice, but one in particular stole the show (page 8).

Prince Harry’s goddaughter is the sister of Grace van Cutsem. You’ve seen the elder van Cutsem before — she was the one photographed during William and Kate’s famous balcony kiss trying to block out the noise of the cheering crowds. Florence wasn’t caught frowning during this wedding.

Jasper is Prince Harry’s godson, and the son of Mark Dyer. The elder Dyer helped look after Harry when he was growing up, and the prince considers him a “second father.” Therefore, Jasper had a rightful place alongside the groom.

At the age of 2, Zalie was the youngest member of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s bridal party. Technically, Harry’s brother William was the oldest — he was the younger prince’s best man.

Next: We get it — bridesmaid life is stressful.

Rylan and Remi Litt

Remi and Rylan Litt are Meghan Markle’s goddaughters, and the daughters of one of her closest friends. Rylan couldn’t help but show her relief after the hardest part of her job — escorting the bride down the aisle — was finally over.

Brian and John Mulroney

These twins, two of the party’s pageboys, had a great time during the ceremony. One half of the adorable duo, John, was caught unable to contain his excitement upon seeing the bride. He wins the award for “most unforgettable, accidental photobomb in a globally televised event.”

Next: Their little sister also made an appearance.

Brian and John Mulroney have a little sister, and since their mom and Meghan Markle are good friends, she got to participate in the wedding, too.

Next: Both he and his dad were part of the wedding.

Prince George

George was a bridal party veteran at this point — he was also a pageboy in Pippa Middleton’s 2017 wedding. He came prepared to do what four-year-old princes do best: Look cute and try to hide his nerves, though we’d be nervous, too. He did great.

Next: We’d expect nothing less from George’s sister.

Princess Charlotte

As we expected, Princess Charlotte couldn’t stay out of the spotlight for long — and that’s totally fine. She couldn’t resist sticking out her tongue as she passed by photographers. Her beautiful dress and flower crown were cute, too.
