Everything We Know About Ivanka Trump’s Daily Workout Routine
Donald Trump may not believe in exercise, but his daughter definitely does. No matter how you feel about Ivanka Trump, we can probably all agree that her workout routine is pretty impressive. She may be busy with her duties as the first daughter, a mother of three, and a business woman, but she somehow manages to fit exercise into her daily life.
Here’s everything we know about Trump’s impressive workout routine that keeps her in shape and feeling good.
1. She wakes up at 5:30 a.m. to exercise
As a mother, Trump has to use her time wisely in order to fit in a good exercise. She told My Morning Routine that because her kids “wake up at 7 a.m. on the dime,” she gets her fitness in before they wake up.
She explained, “I get up at 5:30 a.m. and meditate or work out — or both.”

2. Trainer Peter Monge put together her workout routine
Peter Monge, Trump’s trainer and the founder of NYFitness, has put together workout programs for Trump and for her readers. Trump explained, “When I’m in [New York City], I like to work out at the gym in my building. My trainer, Peter Monge, put together a workout program for me.”
Once a week, Trump and will go through a similar workout program with Monge, which was put together “exclusively for [her] readers” to follow. The program is a “total-body workout that will strengthen the core while focusing on movements that use as many muscles as possible to increase heart rate, burn more calories, and speed up the metabolism.”
The routine goes through multiple cycles, including strength and conditioning, cardio, balance and coordination, and advanced functional training. The workout recommends, “Do your cardio 2 to 4 times a week, alternating with strength-training days.”

3. She showed off her morning squats
Trump proved just how committed she is to her early morning workout routine by posting a video to Instagram. While doing squats at the gym, she looks serious in her t-shirt, leggings, and her hair back in a ponytail. She captioned her post, “Up and at ‘em!”
Next: She never takes a day off.
4. She exercises on-the-go
As a busy woman, Trump doesn’t sacrifice her exercise when she’s on-the-go. She explained that she sticks to the same daily routine “on my own and in the hotel gym when I travel.” While she tries as hard as she can to stick to her daily morning routine no matter what, life inevitably gets in the way from time to time. In that case, she admitted, “I just try to start new the next day.”
Next: She has a newfound love for this exercise.
5. She runs with her husband
In addition to her daily workout routine, Trump has found a love for running. “I like to run with my husband [Jared Kushner],” Ivanka told People in July 2016. “It’s something we started doing around a year and a half ago when my team at my fashion brand all decided collectively we would train for a half marathon. I had never run like a half mile in my life, so this was a very daunting experience.”
She added, “But in addition to having an amazing time with the incredible women that work for me, I also picked up a running bug — like I really actually rather enjoy it. So I go out with my husband every Saturday morning, we’ll run for an hour and we’ll just chat. It’s an amazing time for the two of us as well.”

6. She mixes in SoulCycle and yoga
Running isn’t the only cardio Trump incorporates into her routine. According to The Daily Meal, she regularly attends SoulCycle classes for a good sweat.
Trump even pays the yoga studio a visit on a regular basis. She’ll work with trainer Rhonda Malkin, a former Rockettes dancer, to go through a “fusion workout.” This routine includes “a combination of yoga, pilates, dance, and a meditation that exercises the body as well as the mind.”
Next: It’s not all about her weight.
7. Exercise is about how she feels
Trump may prioritize keeping an exercise routine, but for her, it’s all about making herself feel good. She explained to People, “For me, at the end of the day, exercise is more about how I physically feel and it’s giving me clarity of mind and diet has more of a direct impact on my actual weight.”
