Kendall Jenner Does These 3 Things Every Day to Keep Her Anxiety at Bay
Much like the rest of her family, Kendall Jenner is used to constantly being in the spotlight. But internet fame often comes with a hefty price, including a lack of privacy. And on the last season of Keeping up with the Kardashians, it was revealed that Jenner suffers from crippling anxiety.
Over 40 million Americans suffer from some type of anxiety disorder, which can really put a damper on your daily life. Jenner deals with anxiety daily but has three easy tricks to keep it at bay.
In an interview with Lana Del Rey that was published in Elle, Jenner said she’d started doing transcendental meditation. The technique involves repeating a mantra and working to avoid distracting thoughts. It is said to be extremely relaxing.

Watching Netflix at night
In her Elle interview, Jenner also told Del Rey she chills out with Netflix every night before bed.
“When I’m about to fall asleep, I’ll put on Trailer Park Boys,” Jenner said. “I love it; it’s so stupid.” The lighthearted show helps her forget her troubles and drift off to sleep.

She doesn’t spread herself too thin
Most average American adults have jam-packed schedules as it is, so we can only imagine what it’s like to be Jenner, who gets invited to events constantly along with having a career. But she manages her anxiety by not spreading herself too thin.
“I could not check my phone for two minutes, and there are, like, 100 text messages,” Jenner admitted. “The majority of the time, my family group chat is on sleep mode. I can’t have it on vibrate.”

Jenner’s techniques must be paying off because she manages to stay in a state of calmness in her everyday life.
“My friends are always like, ‘Dude, you’re so much more chill and normal than anyone would ever think.’” Jenner told Del Rey. Del Rey mentioned that her mother, Kris Jenner, is also great at helping her stay calm.
And since viewers witnessed Jenner calling her mom for help during a crippling anxiety attack during one episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians, it’s safe to say the matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner clan has been helpful.

Mental health and self-care
During the Elle interview, Jenner and Del Rey — who also suffers from anxiety — said they’re grateful for the focus on self-care the health community seems to be taking. But talking about it publicly, they hope they’ll be able to help others do the same.
“It’s interesting; ever since I said something about being anxious, a lot of people in the spotlight have come to me, being like, ‘Oh my God, me too!’” Jenner said. “There’s this community. I take what they do to help themselves and piece it together to find what helps me.”
