New mom, Khloe Kardashian, started exercising again after giving birth to her daughter, True Thompson, in April 2018. Kardashian discussed the experience on her app, giving the public insight into her workout routine now that she’s a mom. She didn’t waste any time
“Once I got the green light from my doctor, Coach Joe was on the next flight to Cleveland — no joke,” Khloe said. Her personal trainer, Joe Bouraïma, got down to business when he arrived in Ohio to train Khloe. “Two hours after I landed [in Cleveland], we were in the gym together!” he told People.

“On that first day back, it felt so good to sweat again,” Kardashian said. “It’s a struggle to get back into the groove. Mentally, I’m strong but physically, it’s just not the same.” Bouraïma had to remind Khloe she couldn’t start with the workouts she did before her pregnancy. “She didn’t try to slow down or make it easy, but I had to remind her that her body went through some big changes,” he told People.

While True slept, Khloe exercised
On Snapchat, Khloe revealed she exercises while True is sleeping, keeping her baby monitor with her, according to Women’s Health. She responded to critics of her returning to the gym soon after giving birth saying, “Just because I have a baby, doesn’t mean I have to stop doing the things that I love, and I love working out and getting my mind right,” according to People.

Khloe’s workout to lose baby weight
Khloe’s used to doing serious strength training but had to ease back into the strenuous workouts she did before her pregnancy. While she may not be using as intense weights, she’s still getting in a killer workout. Her workouts involve cardio and circuit training, according to E! News. She does 30 minutes of cardio followed by weighted squats, push-ups, plank variations, and more.

Khloe’s post-baby meal plan
Before the gym in the morning, Khloe eats a tablespoon of jam and a tablespoon of almond butter, according to the Daily Mail. After her workout, she’ll have two eggs, one cup of oatmeal, and one cup of berries or fresh fruit. “’I’m currently on a low-carb diet that my nutritionist, Dr. Goglia, gave me,” Khloe said on her app. “It has lots of protein, so I’m able to go all out at the gym, but the best part is that I’m never hungry because I’m always eating!”

Khloe doesn’t forget about snacks
Khloe’s go-to snack in the morning is “a piece of fruit with a handful of almonds,” she said on her app. If she’s hungry before dinner, she will “grab another handful of almonds with a cup of vegetables, like cherry tomatoes.”
