Tiffany Trump’s father may be the President of the United States, but that doesn’t stop her from going out and having a good time. Cosmopolitan claimed Trump isn’t a party girl; however, one look at her Instagram will tell you otherwise.
As a former member of New York’s “Snap Pack,” which is “the Insta- and Snapchat-obsessed group of society scions immortalized by The New York Times,” we haven’t been exactly surprised to see her partying from time to time.
Here’s proof that Trump loves hitting the town, but the No. 1 photo shows just how elite her party girl status really is — and what it has to do with the rest of her family. After that, we’ll also take a quick look at other fascinating things you never knew about her.
7. 21st birthday celebrations
Back in Trump’s undergrad days at the University of Pennsylvania, she definitely took some study breaks from earning her dual degree in sociology and urban studies.
She and her friends, clad in black miniskirts and high heels, went out to celebrate just a few days after her 21st birthday in 2014. Based on her emojis, they were having fun and did a whole lot of dancing.
Next: We’re guessing dancing was on the agenda again.
6. Dancing the night away
Another year, another photo with her friends in their best party clothes. The ladies are definitely looking ready for a night out, and if we read into Trump’s emoji use once again, we’re guessing dancing was on the agenda.
Next: She parties outside, too.
5. Poolside partying
Just a few months later in 2015, Trump brought her partying to the pool to celebrate the Fourth of July. She and her friends definitely look to be having a fun summer day, and Trump is looking particularly festive in her all-blue poolside ensemble.
Next: They definitely look like they’re having fun together.
4. A collage of fun times
What better way for Trump to wish a friend a happy birthday than to post a collage of their fun times together? From making silly faces to enjoying the night drink-in-hand, they certainly look like they have a blast together.
Trump wrote on her Instagram post, “Happy Happy Birthday … I’m so grateful to have a best friend like you! Hope all your birthday wishes come true.”
Next: She brought the dancing emoji back out to play.
3. Dressed for the event
Trump stuck with the collage theme to show off her nights out on Instagram. In December 2015, she posted this photo of herself enjoying a night out with her friends at the University of Pennsylvania.
As if the colorful lights and their party wear wasn’t telling enough, her signature emoji use certainly gave away that they were out dancing and having a good time.
Next: She’s mixing studying back in with her partying.
2. Back to school
Trump’s undergrad days may be over, but she isn’t done with college just yet. She’s now studying at Georgetown Law, so she obviously had to document her back-to-school celebrations.
In her new bangs, she looks ready to party through another school year (oh, and study).
Next: She officially reached next-level party girl.
1. Partying with Playboy
Trump officially gained elite partying status when ringing in 2018. She isn’t just going out on the town with her college friends anymore — she was photographed at Playboy’s annual New Year’s Eve party.
Trump wasn’t just another guest, either. She was spotted hanging close with the heir to Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Enterprises, 26-year-old Cooper Hefner, along with his fiancée, Scarlett Byrne.
Sure, Trump has every right to party with whoever she wants to, but her family has a bit of history with Playboy. Her mother, Marla Maples, was reportedly offered $2 million to pose nude for Playboy magazine.
Maples declined, explaining, “I’m thankful for my body, but I didn’t want to exploit it. How would I ever be taken seriously?” It doesn’t look like Maples’ comment was held against her daughter, as Trump seemed to be more than welcome while celebrating the new year.
Next: Tiffany’s boyfriend is a bit surprising.
Her boyfriend is a Democrat
If there’s one thing that isn’t a relationship deal-breaker for Tiffany, it’s politics. Ross Mechanic, who Tiffany has been dating since 2015, is reportedly a Democrat. Mechanic accompanied her to the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland, so they clearly don’t let their differences get in the way.
Next: Tiffany’s relationship with her mom
She’s super close with her mom
Given Tiffany was raised in California by her mother, Marla Maples, they’ve always been extremely close. The two love going on vacation together and have proven their bond with some mother-daughter selfies on Instagram.
They even stuck together while making a difference in the world by going overseas to hand out vitamin C pops at a Malawi orphanage.
Maples definitely threw some shade at her ex-husband (aka Donald Trump) by telling The New York Times, “I had the blessing of raising her pretty much on my own.”
Next: Did she help her father on the campaign trail?
She helped out on her father’s campaign
Despite the shade thrown by her mother, Tiffany actually helped her father during his campaign trail. According to Medium, she “[showed] up a bunch of times at various locations around the country.”
She may have just been taking it as a chance to get to know her father, considering their relationship wasn’t as close as she wished. During the time of the presidential campaign, Maples said Tiffany would “like to get to know her father better and spend time with him like his other children did: by going to his office and watching him work.”
Maples continued, “Only now, he’s not in the office anymore. He’s on the campaign trail.” Given that Tiffany ended up joining him, we hope she feels a closer family connection.
Next: Tiffany and her father share this in common.
She went to the same college as her dad
After all, Tiffany did follow in her father’s footsteps in attending The University of Pennsylvania. Trump doesn’t boast about his daughter often, but he did brag about her grades to the press: “She’s got all A’s at Penn, so we’re proud of her.” Tiffany graduated in the spring of 2016, with a dual degree in sociology and urban studies.
Next: Tiffany didn’t receive much help from her father, especially compared to Ivanka.
She received little financial support
Even though Trump did pay for Tiffany to go to college, she’s otherwise received little financial support from the billionaire. Ivanka actually addressed the awkward topic in her book, The Trump Card: Playing to Win in Work and Life. She stepped in to convince their father to help out a little more:
All she wanted, really, was a way to enjoy some of the privileges her friends got to enjoy, in the same way she would have enjoyed them if she’d lived under our father’s roof … I went to our father and suggested he think about surprising Tiffany with a credit card for Christmas, with a small monthly allowance on it. Sure enough, he did just that. Tiffany was thrilled and relieved. And so appreciative.
Next: This proves Tiffany is the most down-to-earth Trump sibling.
She flies coach
One obvious sign that Tiffany wasn’t raised too closely by her father? She’s totally cool with flying coach. According to Cosmopolitan, Lara Maggs revealed that “unless she’s with her dad, she’s happy to fly coach. When we flew together from Philly, we were in the middle seats at the back of the plane.”
Tiffany may be labeled as the “forgotten Trump,” but based on her much humbler personality (in comparison to the rest of her family), we think it was for the better.
Next: The shocking way she received her first name
She was named after one of Trump’s favorite deals
Leave it to the egocentric Donald Trump to name his child after a business conquest. This one, in particular, refers to the landmark jewelry store. Tiffany’s mother, Marla Maples, told The New York Times that their only child together was named after one of the real estate mogul’s favorite deals: Trump purchased the air rights above the Tiffany’s store in Manhattan so he could build Trump Tower.
