Photos That Make Donald Trump Look 100 Times Unhealthier Than Barack Obama
The truth behind how healthy Donald Trump actually is may forever remain a mystery. However, based on physical appearance alone, we can pretty safely bet that Trump isn’t as healthy as he and his doctors claim.
We can’t help but reflect on the days of Barack Obama’s presidency, when his physical health didn’t need to constantly be in question. The differences in health between Trump and Obama are obvious, but they become even more apparent when compared side by side.
From how they’d spend their time on the White House lawn (page 5) to their energy while delivering speeches (page 6), these photos will convince you Obama is 100 times healthier than Trump.
There’s no denying that both Obama and Trump have a love for golf. However, Trump’s excursions to the golf course look to be the only exercise he gets.
According to Mike Kranisch and Marc Fisher of The Washington Post, Trump actually believes exercise is bad for you. They wrote in their book, Trump Revealed, about the president’s theory:
After college, after Trump mostly gave up his personal athletic interests, he came to view time spent playing sports as time wasted. Trump believed the human body was like a battery, with a finite amount of energy, which exercise only depleted. So he didn’t work out. When he learned that John O’Donnell, one of his top casino executives, was training for an Ironman triathlon, he admonished him, “You are going to die young because of this.”

2. Departing Marine One
While Trump may take his sweet old time to get down the stairs of Marine One, Obama departs from the aircraft in style. Even his wife, Michelle Obama, has called his walk down the stairs “swagalicious.”
She gushed, “When I see him get off Marine One and walk into the White House … it’s mm, mm, mm! And you know, he has that walk, right?”
Oprah added, “He’s got the swag.” Michelle agreed, noting, “He was very swagalicious.”
Next: Trump seemed stiff and awkward in comparison to Obama.
3. Their dance moves
Speaking of swag, Obama has proven to have some smooth moves on the dance floor. At the Commander in Chief Ball in 2013, he was as suave as ever while dancing with Michelle.
Trump’s dance at the Inaugural Ball with his wife, Melania, was a little less pleasing to the eye. His movements were stiff and awkward — but the awkwardness may have something to do with the cringe-worthy body language he’s shared with his wife since becoming president.

4. Getting active
When Obama and Trump get casual, we can’t help but notice the difference in their physical health. Despite golf, Trump doesn’t exactly look ready to break a sweat. Obama, on the other hand, looks ready to get active in his sportswear and baseball cap.
Next: We can’t picture Trump doing this.
5. Out on the White House lawn
We can’t imagine Trump being photographed running in the White House lawn with a dog. However, that could be because he’s the first president since 1901 without a furry friend. Maybe he’d get a little more exercise in if he had a dog to walk once in a while.
The most you’ll see is Trump leisurely walking across the lawn. In the photo above, he’s strolling alongside 11-year-old Frank Giaccio, who wrote a letter asking to mow the White House lawn (a moment that ended up turning into a meme).
Next: Trump looked ready to call it quits.
6. Delivering speeches
Every time Obama speaks at an event, he fills the room with his energy. We can likely attribute that to his animated movements and strong stage presence he carries with him.
Trump, on the other hand, looks like he wants nothing more than for his Thanksgiving Day speech in 2017 speech to be over. His face looks uncomfortable, and the way he’s grabbing both sides of the podium makes it look like he’s ready to take a seat.
Next: Their differences definitely stood out.
7. Face to face
In one of the few moments Obama and Trump were photographed together, their differences in physical health became even more apparent. Even after eight years in the White House, Obama has made it clear that his health remained a priority among his presidential responsibilities.
We aren’t convinced Trump is making the same kind of commitment.
Next: One of the most striking differences also involves the first ladies.
8. Standing next to their wives
They say a happy wife leads to a happy life, and happiness leads to a healthier life. If that’s the case, Trump may want to try to make Melania a bit happier. While the current first lady often puts on a good show for her husband, she is often caught in a look of misery when he’s looking away. This was evident on Inauguration Day, along with several other occasions.

9. Their watches
While Trump can be seen wearing gold watches if you look close enough, Obama recently started wearing a Fitbit, which helps him track his workouts. Obama undoubtedly still wears some luxury watches, but it’s safe to say Trump will probably never be seen wearing something on his wrist that tracks his exercises, especially given his beliefs about the human body.
