This Study Reveals That Yes, Donald Trump Really Does Have Tiny Hands

Sen. Marco Rubio’s tiny hand comment was heard around the world, leaving President Donald Trump fuming. While quips about Trump’s hand size have persisted for decades, James Comey pulled no punches bringing up “those hands” in his new book, A Higher Loyalty, The Huffington Post reports. When Trump came in for a handshake, Comey observed Trump’s hand “was smaller than mine.”

We reveal the mystery of Trump’s hand size, as well as the lengths the president will go to dispel the hand rumors (page 7).

The Hollywood Reporter analyzed Trump’s right hand size thanks to Madame Tussauds. Artists took Trump’s measurements to create a replica figure for the New York City wax museum. And, for some reason, they created a plaque of one of his hands, which is situated by the museum’s exit.

Next: So how big are they?

Measurements from the Madame Tussauds plaque show Trump’s hands are smaller than the average size for a man his height, The Hollywood Reporter reveals. The average man is about 5-foot-10 with the average hand size of 7.44 inches. Trump is 6-foot-2, but his hand measures 7.25 inches.

These measurements put Trump’s hands in the 15th percentile, according to The Washington Post. That means about 85% of men and even a third of women have bigger hands than Trump.

Trump’s hands have been a sore spot for years. He’s been exchanging barbs with Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter for decades, Newsweek reports. Even Vicente Fox, the former president of Mexico, trolled Trump by wearing a T-shirt that read, “Can’t Build a Wall If Your Hands Are Too Small.”

Men’s Journal reports the male hand size appears to be a feature that attracts women, according to a study by the University of Geneva. Men with longer ring fingers also appear more masculine.

At the same time, a study by Department of Urology at Gachon University Gil Hospital linked ring finger length with testicle size, Shape reports. The longer the finger size, the larger the testicles.

The Hollywood Reporter provided a life-sized printable download of Trump’s hands, so you can see how you measure up. Of course the internet went wild, with nearly everyone — even dogs — getting into the game.

Next: And the controversy gets a little insane, too.

Trump is taking actions that only make matters worse. For example, White House guests were taken aback at oddly featured images of Trump’s hands in a hallway leading to a dining hall, The New York Daily News reports.

The images appear to be supersized. “Maybe they wanted to make his point by blowing up the photo, but it does the complete opposite,” the source told The New York Daily News. “It’s wildly unappetizing.”
