The Real Reason Why Eric and Donald Trump Jr. Are Jealous of Jared Kushner

The two oldest Trump brothers believe they’ve gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to their father’s presidency. Meanwhile, Jared Kushner and his wife, Ivanka Trump, seem to constantly be in the public eye regarding Donald Trump’s presidential decisions. And something has sparked some thoughts of jealousy from President Trump’s oldest sons.

The Trump children have been labeled a soap opera

Vogue once referred to the Trump children as “better than soap opera stars.” And Vogue is right. If it weren’t for being the president’s children, these people could have their own reality television show. In fact, sometimes the White House seems like it actually is just one big reality television show. And now, it’s clear that the Trump children aren’t happy with that one son-in-law who just never seems to go away: Kushner.

President Trump’s two oldest sons have the job of running the Trump organization. They’re the ones controlling the company while their father runs the country. As a result, they’re not at the forefront of the Trump presidency. Plus, Donald Trump Sr. still owns the company and its assets, so Donald Jr. and Eric Trump don’t get to reap many benefits of their new jobs. Although Donald Trump Jr. has recently made headlines, Eric Trump tends to stay out of the spotlight. Donald Trump Jr. also said last year that he barely has any contact with this father.

On the other hand, Jared Kushner has plenty of contact. He is President Trump’s right-hand man and helps run the White House along with his wife, Ivanka Trump — Trump’s daughter. Trump named Kushner his senior advisor in January 2017 after he decided his two oldest sons would run his company. Kushner married Ivanka Trump in 2009 and is one of the few members of the White House that has not stepped down or been fired (yet).

According to sources, Donald Jr. and Eric Trump are jealous of Kushner because he’s at the center of all of the “fun” going on in the White House. “All the attention to Jared is a bit of a sore point and they feel left out of the fun in D.C.,” a source told People. “They miss being at the center of the action.” Apparently, the Trump men are jealous of all of the drama that’s going on in the White House. They dislike that Kushner has gotten so much of the spotlight when they claim they’re the ones who helped Donald Trump campaign his way into the White House.

The truth is that the jealousy stems from wanting their father’s affection. It’s clear that Ivanka Trump is the favorite in her father’s eyes, and some wonder why his other children even bother to vie for his attention. But the Trumps look up to their father for one reason or another. While some of the public sees the president as a horrible choice to run the country, his children see him as a heroic, quality businessman and strive to be just like him.

But all of them have been involved in their own scandals

The Trump children are no strangers to scandal. Although they aren’t in the spotlight as often as their father, they’ve all had their share of public moments. Donald Trump Jr. was in the spotlight when the news broke about his 2012 affair with Aubrey O’Day. Eric Trump posted a distasteful video about Mar-a-Lago just after the Parkland school shooting.

Kushner’s company has been under investigation for several reasons, including wrongly pushing out tenants from his buildings. Ivanka Trump’s sweat shops have recently come under fire. For the most part, Tiffany Trump has stayed out of the spotlight. And Barron Trump is a bit too young to cause controversy of his own.

Perhaps they should really be jealous of Tiffany Trump

Perhaps the other boys should actually be jealous of President Trump’s only child with Marla Maples — Tiffany Trump. The 24-year-old mostly keeps out of the spotlight, yet still reaps the financial benefits of Donald Trump’s billion-dollar business. Tiffany Trump is an avid Instagrammer who always looks like she’s trying to live her best life and pretend her father isn’t the president. And it looks like she might be succeeding (with the exception of getting some heat for the cost of her security), whereas the others can’t seem to escape controversy.
