Woody Allen’s Daughter Claims He Sexually Abused Her and His Dark History Just Makes Things Worse
The twisted and complicated history of the Woody Allen sex abuse allegations got a little weirder as more of his children are making claims about the director. Allen and Mia Farrow’s daughter Dylan made claims several years ago that Allen sexually abused her during childhood.
Dylan alleged Allen abused her 25 years ago and still stands by her claim. However, more of Allen’s children are coming forward, tearing an already broken family further apart. Although the children are divided you can’t ignore these incredibly creepy comments Allen made in a 2015 interview (page 5). But new support surfaced (page 6) that makes you wonder what is really going on.
1. Dylan told her story long before #Metoo
Dylan told her story to Vanity Fair in 2013, which was originally reported 20 years prior. While her account is fragmented, Dylan remembers specifics like what Allen was wearing when he abused her and that the abuse occurred in the attic at the family’s home.
“There’s a lot I don’t remember, but what happened in the attic I remember. I remember what I was wearing and what I wasn’t wearing.” Dylan told Vanity Fair reporter Maureen Orth. “The things making me uncomfortable were making me think I was a bad kid, because I didn’t want to do what my elder told me to do.”

2. The New York State Supreme Court said this about Dylan’s abuse claims
The case was investigated after Dylan made the claims in 1992, according to CNN. And while a full investigation was conducted, independent court-appointed experts found “no credible evidence of molestation.”
Justice Elliott Wilk of New York’s State Supreme Court said Allen couldn’t be prosecuted based on the evidence. However, while the evidence didn’t support prosecution, Judge Wilk said the evidence was actually inconclusive.

3. Dylan’s brother makes this startling claim
Moses Farrow, Dylan’s brother responded to his sister’s abuse assertions by making this jaw-dropping statement. “My mother drummed it into me to hate my father for tearing apart the family and sexually molesting my sister,” Moses told People.
Moses insists Allen did not abuse Dylan and that she loved him. “Of course Woody did not molest my sister,” he told People “She loved him and looked forward to seeing him when he would visit. She never hid from him until our mother succeeded in creating the atmosphere of fear and hate towards him.”

4. Was Dylan ‘brainwashed?’
Moses said his mother brainwashed Dylan because she is seeking revenge against Allen for marrying their adopted daughter, Soon-Yi Previn. Moses admits he “fell” for his mother’s “manipulation” and told People, “And I hated him for her for years. I see now that this was a vengeful way to pay him back for falling in love with Soon-Yi.”

5. No father should ever say this about his daughter
When Allen talked to NPR in 2015, he initially thought the relationship with his adopted daughter Soon-Yi would have been a fling and not serious. “I’m 35 years older, and somehow, through no fault of mine or hers, the dynamic worked. I was paternal. She responded to someone paternal. I liked her youth and energy.” Allen continued by saying the relationship has stood the test of time. Today the couple shares a daughter too.

6. Bechet Allen finally breaks her silence
Despite the skin-crawling comments Allen made in the past about his adopted daughter, and now wife, the couple’s teenage daughter Bechet recently spoke out. Bechet took to Facebook to support her father and Moses.
She wrote, “I never wanted to involve myself in the social media debates involving my father, but there comes a point when I realize that I can either continue pretending that none of this is going on, or stand up for him. He has been nothing but supportive and loving, and now it is my turn to support him.”

7. Ronan Farrow speaks his truth
Journalist Ronan Farrow stands with his sister Dylan. “I believe my sister,” he penned in the Hollywood Reporter. “This was always true as a brother who trusted her, and, even at 5 years old, was troubled by our father’s strange behavior around her: climbing into her bed in the middle of the night, forcing her to suck his thumb — behavior that had prompted him to enter into therapy focused on his inappropriate conduct with children prior to the allegations.”
Ronan said that coming from a family with a powerful man at the head gave him a unique perspective when it came to covering the Harvey Weinstein sex abuse allegations. “You see early in life with that kind of a family background the way in which the most powerful men in America wield power for good and for ill,” he said to People.
