The Worst Things Trump Has Said About Assault, Sex, and Women

Whether you love him or despise him, there’s no denying that Donald Trump has made some pretty controversial statements about women and assault both before and during his presidency. Trump claims to have “tremendous respect” for women, but it appears that his statements and actions say otherwise. These are a few of the worst things he has said or tweeted … starting with the most recent.

That Senator Kirsten Gillibrand ‘would do anything’ for campaign contributions

On Tuesday, December 12,  Trump sent a scathing tweet to Senator Kirsten Gillibrand after she said he should resign amidst the many allegations of sexual harassment and assault he’s facing.

“Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Chuck Schumer and someone who would come to my office ‘begging’ for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against Trump. Very disloyal to Bill & Crooked-USED!,” Trump tweeted, instantly drawing claims that he sexually harassed Gillibrand online.

When it comes to women ‘You can do anything. Grab them by the pu**y’

In 2016, when Donald Trump was campaigning for President, tapes from 2005 were released in which he said some pretty damning things to Billy Bush, the host of Access Hollywood at the time. Among the quotes were these:

“I moved on her actually. You know she was down on Palm Beach. I moved on her and I failed. I’ll admit it. I did try and fuck her. She was married …  I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married. Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony tits and everything. She’s totally changed her look.”

“You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. I just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.”

That sexual assault in the military ‘just happens’

Donald Trump apparently doesn’t believe in men and women serving in the military together. In May of 2013, he tweeted:

“26,000 unreported sexual assaults in the military — only 238 convictions. What did these geniuses expect when they put men & women together?”

Whether he was implying that men can’t help but assault women when working with them or that the women were making up the majority of the claims, his tweet seemed insulting to both genders.

Some women are ‘needy, but inside they are real killers’

One of the quotes from Trump’s 1997 book, The Art of the Comeback, is very telling:

“Women have one of the great acts of all time. The smart ones act very feminine and needy, but inside they are real killers. The person who came up with the expression ‘the weaker sex’ was either very naive or had to be kidding. I have seen women manipulate men with just a twitch of their eye — or perhaps another body part.”

That Arianna Huffington is ‘extremely unattractive’

Trump doesn’t seem to be a fan of The Huffington Post or its founder. In 2012, he said that Huffington “is unattractive both inside and out. I fully understand why her former husband left her for a man- he made a good decision.”

Then in April of 2015, he tweeted this gem:

“How much money is the extremely unattractive (both inside and out) Arianna Huffington paying her poor ex-hubby for the use of his name?”

That Hillary Clinton ‘can’t satisfy her husband’

It goes without saying that Trump insulted Clinton numerous times throughout the campaign. Perhaps the most appalling was a tweet that he later deleted, but thanks to the invention of screenshots, it will live on:

“If Hillary Clinton can’t satisfy her husband what makes her think she can satisfy America?”

During the campaign, Trump also claimed that Clinton was unstable and insane, which is now something he’s accused of on a daily basis.

That Megyn Kelly had ‘blood coming out of her wherever’

In what was perhaps one of his most famous tirades, Trump went off on Megyn Kelly — and ironically, what angered him was a question she asked about his treatment of women. After Kelly asked him to comment on the misogynistic and sexist things he’d said in the past during the 2015 Republican debate, Trump slammed Kelly, saying her questions were “ridiculous” and “off-base.”

“You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes,” Trump told CNN’s Don Lemon a few days later. “Blood coming out of her wherever.” His “blood” comments were so insulting that Trump was uninvited from a conservative event in Atlanta called RedState Gathering. Rather than apologizing, Trump complained on Twitter that society is too politically correct.
