In a Monday note to investors, Jefferies said BlackBerry has cut back its output by a minimum of 10 percent, implying that sales of its new smartphones are lagging. Analyst Peter Misek said that research indicates that BlackBerry has slashed its production levels by at least 10 percent only a month after it sharply cut its production by more than 50 percent. Misek believes the decline implies that the company will post lower revenue for its quarter ended in August than was anticipated.
