Travelers Companies (NYSE:TRV): Travelers earnings per share was off by $0.15, but that was to be expected due to Hurricane Irene. Revenues of $6.41 billion were actually $830 million higher than expected. Travelers is up 5.27%.

Intel (NASDAQ:INTC): Intel’s Q3 report showed the company had a record quarter and beat all forecasts. Bank of America (NYSE:BAC): Yesterday’s impressive gains was made possible by a positive report. News that a major deal between the biggest banks and U.S. states to have the banks refinance underwater loans in exchange for immunity from lawsuits is driving the price up. Skeptics believe that Bank of America still has too many liabilities on its books. The stock is up 1.73%.
