A number of sources told Bloomberg that Pasi Siitonen and Simon Hutchinson left their jobs as North Sea crude traders at Morgan Stanley more than a week ago. Siitonen and Hutchinson will join Noble Group Ltd. and continue covering crude markets, the sources said. Noble trades and produces foodstuffs, energy, and metals from its headquarters in Hong Kong, with offices in more than 90 locations globally, including London, Singapore, and Geneva, its website says.

Carlyle Group (NYSE:CG): Current price $28.05

Carlyle has named banks for an initial public offering of the telecommunications equipment firm CommScope Holding Co. Inc., based in Hickory, North Carolina, which was taken private two years ago for $3.9 billion, according to Reuters sources. CommScope has recruited JPMorgan and Deutsche Bank AG to conduct the deal, which will probably occur later in 2013, the sources said.

KKR & Co. (NYSE:KKR): Current price $20.10

KKR, run by Henry Kravis and George Roberts, has hired the former chief of Prudential’s property business as it accelerates its real-estate investment in Western Europe. In an emailed statement, it was revealed that KKR hired Martin Moore as a senior adviser, according to Reuters. Moore retired in June as chairman of Prudential’s M&G Real Estate division, a position he held for one year after serving as managing director of the division since 1996.
