Sprint Nextel (NYSE:S): Sprint has been hammered by concerns about its cash position, but many analysts believe that the company’s access to capital and its current assets make concern about this issue overblown. Sprint is up 7.98%.

Akamai Technologies (NASDAQ:AKAM): Bloomberg reported this morning that rumors that Google will take over Akamai are baseless. Akamai has been a source of buyout speculation no less than 21 times since 2005. Akamai is up 4.73%.

Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA): Nvidia went up significantly at the beginning of the session and have more or less stayed at that plateau. Oppenheimer’s Rick Schafer has designated Nvidia as one of his favorite chipmakers. The stock is up 4.86%.
