These three are being heavily traded early this morning:
1) Best Buy (NYSE:BBY): Shares of the electronics retailer are surging this morning, up 7.22% in pre-market trades. The good day for Best Buy comes as a result of a strong first quarter earnings that topped analyst estimates on all fronts.
2) Hewlett Packard (NYSE:HPQ): Shares of the lead software and technology developer are up .72% in pre-market moves this morning on news of some executive changes. 29 year old company veteran Ann Livermore was reportedly named to the board, as CAO Pete Bocian and CIO Randy Mott are set to leave their positions at the company.
3) Cliffs Natural Resources (NYSE:CLF): The mining and natural resource international has seen shares spike 1.4% in trading this morning, largely due to an announcement last night that the company raised a total $853 million on 10.4 million shares in a new IPO, money it was use to pay off its debt to Consolidates Thompson Iron Mines.
