Yahoo! (NASDAQ:YHOO): Closing price $26.64

Yahoo!’s Chief Financial Officer Kenneth Goldman said that his company needs to be “cool” once more if it wants to entice younger users to help balance out its “aging demographic.”  On Tuesday, Goldman said at J.P. Morgan’s Global Technology, Media and Telecom conference that Yahoo intends to boost its advertising, marketing and potentially update its content so as to reach a younger base, reaching this under-35 group is one of his firm’s key goals.

DISH Network Corporation (NASDAQ:DISH): Closing price $38.84

On Tuesday, DISH reported that its subsidiary, DISH DBS Corporation will offer around $2.5 billion aggregate principal amount of its senior notes, with the net proceeds of the offering to be placed into escrow. The net proceeds will be released from escrow to make a cash distribution to DISH Network so as to finance a portion of the cash consideration for DISH Networks’ proposed merger with Sprint Nextel Corporation (NYSE:S). If the proposed merger with Sprint fails to occur on or prior to the escrow end date, or if DISH DBS elects at any time on or prior to the escrow end date, then DISH DBS will redeem all of the notes.

eBay (NASDAQ:EBAY): Closing price $56.27

PayPal is offering free credit, debit, check, and PayPal processing to domestic firms that qualify and adopt its PayPal Here solution, for the remainder of 2013. PayPal Here, which offers a triangle dongle through which to compete with Square, offers a mobile dongle that can be attached to smartphones or tablets to take payments on the go. However, it is also now a pre-integrated solution for  existing point-of-sale machines from multiple vendors likeERPLY, Leaf,  Leapset, NCR Silver, ShopKeep, and Vend.
