3 Telecom Stocks Seeing Action: Verizon’s Moto X Release Leaked, AT&T Greens Up, and T-Mobile Prime for Takeover

Verizon (NYSE:VZ): The release date for the much-anticipated Moto X phone has finally been leaked, and an inventory report from Best Buy has been sent around the Internet. According to the report, the phone is scheduled for release on August 29; it was previously thought to launch on August 23.


AT&T (NYSE:T): The mobile giant is showing some environmental sensitivity by partnering with The Nature Conservancy to aid Colorado customers in choosing to forgo checking out with a bag. For every customer that shops at an AT&T retail location and chooses to skip leaving with bag, AT&T will donate 10 cents to the organization.


T-Mobile US (NYSE:TMUS): The company is performing better recently, though prospects for a takeover are omnipresent. In a recent report, analyst Chetan Sharma said, “With this merger behind, all eyes are squarely focused on T-Mobile as to who makes the bid for [the] fourth-ranked operator in the next 6-12 months.
