RadioShack Corporation (NYSE:RSH): Closing price $3.09

On Wednesday, RadioShack debuted its first new concept store, on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, with others planned for New York, New Jersey and Texas during the next several weeks. The store is located at 2268 Broadway (at 81st Street), and starts the transformation that the new Chief Executive Joe Magnacca thinks necessary to lure younger customers in and to make the chain profitable once again. In April, Magnacca said that the first group of stores would be in Manhattan. While all the store’s new features and displays have been run by consumer panels and received positive grades, Magnacca acknowledged that he knows from experience that it could be insufficient.

Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX): Closing price $220.91

Netflix announced Wednesday an expanded multi-year licensing arrangement with PBS Distribution, which will allow a wide variety of PBS programming to become available to Netflix members in the United States and in Canada. Also available will be children’s series such as Wild Kratts, Caillou and Arthur, documentaries from the celebrated filmmaker Ken Burns, including Prohibition and Central Park Five, and past seasons of popular non-fiction series like Nova  and Secrets of the Dead.

Toyota Motor Corp. (NYSE:TM): Closing price $124.52

Toyota is recalling some 185,000 vehicles worldwide, including the Yaris compact, because of  a glitch in the electric power steering system, which could make the steering heavier. Yaris models, which are known as the Vitz in Japan, built between November 2010 to March 2012 have been recalled. Additionally, Toyota said it is recalling the Verso-S, known as the Lactis in Japan, made from August 2010 to August 2011.

US Airways Group (NYSE:LCC): Closing price $16.75

US Airways on Wednesday posted its June, quarter and year-to-date 2013 traffic results. Mainline revenue passenger miles for that month came to 6.3 billion, which was up by 7.3 percent compared with June 2012. Mainline capacity stood at 7.1 billion available seat miles, up 5.3 percent year-over-year from 2012. Mainline passenger load factor hit a record 88.2 percent for June, up 1.7 points versus June 2012.
