US Airways Group Inc. (NYSE:LCC): Current price $15.91

Two days after the Department of Justice moved to block US Airways Group’s merger with AMR Corp.’s American Airlines — a deal that would end the latter’s bankruptcy — United States Bankruptcy Judge Sean Lane in Manhattan on Thursday asked lawyers to submit briefs on the impact of the department’s antitrust lawsuit before he went forward with the planned confirmation hearing. Lane said that he had considered postponing the hearing, Reuters reports. Prior to the suit, American hoped that the hearing would be the “final episode” in its reorganization, according to its attorney, Joe Sims, who told the publication: “It’s not going be now, so they will deal with that. They’ll adjust and continue as they have been.”
