Pfizer (NYSE:PFE) shares are up 3.55% this morning in pre-market trading after the company and Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. (NYSE:BMY) reported a successful trial of their blood thinner Eliquis late in the day Wednesday. Bristol-Myers shares are up 7.07%.

Lennar Corp. (NYSE:LEN) announced Thursday that its fiscal second-quarter net profit dropped 65% to $13.8 million, down 7 cents a share from last year. IBM (NYSE:IBM) shares are down this morning ahead of the earnings report for software company Oracle (NASDAQ:ORCL), due later today.
