Within the next few days, the company will debut in the United Kingdom two real-money versions of its casino and poker games, representing the gaming major’s first offerings in the online gambling space. Chief Revenue Officer Barry Cottle explained in an interview that “our whole mission is to be the platform of play. At heart, we’re a social gaming company. We view real-money gaming as a natural extension of that.” The first two games to launch will be ZyngaPlusPoker and ZyngaPlusCasino, both said to be in the spirit of Zynga’s most popular types of games.

The online giant says that each time a customer buys a vinyl record from its online store, it will give that person a digital version of the songs for free. The new feature, AutoRip, was introduced in January for CDs, and is said by the company to have boosted music sales. The digital songs are stored in the customer’s online storage account with Amazon, and in this way, they do not count against that customer’s storage limit.
