Tech is trading heavily after hours with chip companies like NVIDIA Corp. (NASDAQ:NVDA) leading the pack. Chip shares have continued to deteriorate for months as consumer demand for tech products decreases amid economic woes. Other tech giants also trading heavily after hours are Intel (NASDAQ:INTC), Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HPQ), Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM), and Dell (NASDAQ:DELL). The Technology SPDR ETF is down 0.10% since the closing bell.
Pfizer (NYSE:PFE) makes advances in its lung cancer drug, which could be approved as soon as their fiscal fourth quarter. Credit Suisse (NYSE:CS) projects that the drug could bring in $1.5 billion in sales for the pharmaceutical company by 2020.
