8 Hot Stocks Lighting Up Trading Screens After Hours

Research in Motion (NASDAQ:RIMM), the maker of the BlackBerry smartphone, reported earnings today after the bell, with both net profit and revenue both declining in the first quarter and lowered projected earnings for the rest of the year. Shares are already down 13.90% in after-hours trading.

Pandora (NYSE:P) shares continue to fall in after-hours trading today, down 2.41% already, after investors realized that its IPO valuation was too high. Shares are down a total of 34.74% from opening Wednesday.

Capital One (NYSE:COF) is trading up today after winning its bid for ING Direct USA (NYSE:ING) late in the day.

Trading for both Home Depot (NYSE:HD) and Lowe’s (NYSE:LOW) was up during regular hours today after UBS analyst Michael Lasser initiated coverage of the companies with “Buy” ratings.

Also trading heavily in the after hours are eBay (NASDAQ:EBAY) and EMC Corp. (NYSE:EMC).
