Akamai and 2 Stocks Pulling the S&P 500 Much Higher

The S&P 500 (NYSEARCA:SPY) is up today by 1.05% and stands at 1,251. Here are three well-performing stocks.

Akamai Technologies (NASDAQ:AKAM): Akamai had a decent Q3 report on October 27th, then fell with the market, and now is basking in the sun again. Advisory group Collins Stewart strikes a cautious tone when it points out that revenue growth has been decelerating, and competition is becoming more intense. Akamai is up 4.89%.

Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX): Although Netflix is up nicely today, a Google study found that searches for Netflix are down. If the historical correlation between searches and subscriptions holds up, that does not bode well for Netflix. The stock is up 4.56%.
