Alcatel Expands Range of Ultra-Broadband Access Product Line and 2 Other Hot Stocks to Watch

Alcatel-Lucent (NYSE:ALU): Current price $3.42

The French telecom has included several innovative solutions through which to expand its Ultra-Broadband Access product line. Alcatel unwrapped these new solutions at the Broadband World Forum 2013, at which the company presented itself as a specialist in IP Networking and Ultra-Broadband Access in accordance with its Shift Plan initiative. The new services were created to improve the networks of fixed, wireless, and cable operators for supplying ultra-speed broadband access to subscribers at lowered costs and include Micro-nodes and Motive Service View solutions, together with its Ethernet Passive Optical Network fiber solution that was launched on October 16.


Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB): Current price $52.02

On Thursday, JMP Securities increased its price target from $38 to $65 on Facebook as the firm believes that the firm’s advertising momentum sped up from the second quarter into the third, while consumer engagement on the website stays high. JMP reiterates an Outperform on the stock as well. Shares are up more than 1 percent in very heavy volume.


Bank of America Corp. (NYSE:BAC): Current price $14.13

BofA said Thursday that its board has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend on its common stock of 1 cent per share, payable December 27 to shareholders of record as of December 6. In addition, the board declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $1.75 per share on the 7 percent cumulative redeemable preferred stock, Series B. That dividend is payable January 24, 2014 to shareholders of record as of January 10.
