IBM’s (NYSE:IBM) makes available financing of $4 billion through its worldwide network of IBM Business Partners to credit-qualified clients over the next year. The financing is intended to make it easier for clients  to invest in advanced technologies such as cloud, analytics and PureSystems. IBM is also launching a unique mobile app which can deliver this financing within minutes through any mobile device.

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has subpoenaed utilities Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) and ConEd (NYSE:ED), and asked for details about their handling of Super Storm Sandy and in particular, their emergency plans for handling such conditions.

VC firm Andreessen Horowitz awards 4.64 million shares of Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) to its partners after the expiration of lock-up on these shares. The firm continues to hold 3.87 million shares.
