Amazon Unveils PinPointing and 4 Stocks Enjoying 52-week Highs

Amazon.Com (NASDAQ:AMZN) Zappos online store has created a service intended to recommend purchases based on what users’ posts on Pinterest, which operates a social-networking site allowing users to collect and share photos on the Internet by pinning them to a virtual bulletin board, according to Bloomberg. The new Web page is named PinPointing and suggests Zappos products. This new service combines Pinterest and E-Commerce in New Site. The shares closed at $247.12, up $1.01 or 0.41% on the day. They have traded in a 52-week range of $166.97 to $247.50.

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG): The judge overseeing the Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) versus Samsung (SSNLF) patent trial is not scheduled to decide whether of not to ban any Samsung products until December 6 at the soones, reports The Verge. However, a hearing regarding Samsung’s request to lift a sales ban on its Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet, which was decided by the jury not to infringe on Apple’s patents, is to be held on September 20, the publication stated. The shares closed at $688.01, up $10.76 or 1.59% on the day. They have traded in a 52-week range of $480.60 to $680.60.

Oxford Industries (NYSE:OXM) reaffirms its FY12 revenue outlook of $850 million to $865 million, consensus $857.49 million. The shares closed at $52.67, up $1.34 or 2.61% on the day. They have traded in a 52-week range of $32.09 to $52.64.

The Fresh Market (NASDAQ:TFM) reports a Q2 EPS pf 28c, consensus 27c. The shares closed at $58.16, down $3.53 or 5.72% on the day. They have traded in a 52-week range of $33.82 to $62.48.

Teleflex Inc. (NYSE:TFX) was awarded a new group purchasing agreement for the supply of its comprehensive line of respiratory products with the Premier healthcare alliance. The three year multi-source agreement will be effective as of November 1, 2012 and extends through October 31, 2015. This agreement allows Premier’s alliance of 2,600 hospitals to have access to the complete Teleflex respiratory line at exclusive member rates, including aerosol and medication delivery, oxygen therapy, and ventilation management. The shares closed at $65.27, up $0.53 or 0.82% on the day. They have traded in a 52-week range of $50.50 to $65.00.
