The bank reported a net interest margin of 3.55% with loans increasing by 6.4% on an annualised basis. Deposits rose 9.2% year-on-year. Tier 1 capital ratio comes in at 10.8%.

Charles Schwab (NYSE:SCHW) reports fourth quarter EPS of $0.15 and revenue of $1.21 billion which is up 9% annually. Interest revenues grow 10% while asset management fees are up 18% on a year-on-year basis. Return on equity is 9% compared to 8% in the year ago quarter. Investor accounts reached 6.1 million up 7%.

AMD (NYSE:AMD): Current Price $2.66
Chipmaker AMD (NYSE:AMD) is suing a former vice president and three former managers, who worked at its Boxborough plant, for allegedly copying over 100,000 confidential documents and trade secrets to take with them to rival Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA), where they took up new employment. AMD said it had uncovered evidence that the four had “transferred to external storage devices trade secret files and information in the days prior to their leaving AMD to work for Nvidia.” The suit further goes on to allege that the employees also transferred three highly confidential files which included two licensing agreements with important customers, and a document outlining proposed strategies AMD’s strategic licensing.”
