Analyst Alerts: Coinstar, Google, DeVry, Intuitive Surgical, Monster Beverage June 6th

Coinstar Inc. (NASDAQ:CSTR): Piper Jaffray views Coinstar’s (NASDAQ:CSTR) deal with Starbuck’s (NASDAQ:SBUX) Seattle’s Best Coffee brand as a net positive for the company’s New Ventures segment, but says it remains cautious on the relative size of the coffee growth opportunity over the near-term. Piper is not changing its estimates for Coinstar following the deal and keeps an Overweight rating on the stock.

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG): Deutsche Bank lowered its price target for Google shares after reducing its 2012 and 2013 estimates to reflect the strengthening U.S. dollar. However, Deutsche believes Google’s shift away from free product listings in the new Google Shopping should both improve the user experience and drive more ad dollars. The firm keeps a Buy rating on the stock.

DeVry, Inc. (NYSE:DV): Deutsche Bank believes DeVry’s assets are mispriced following the recent sell-off in shares. The firm sees limited downside in the stock at current levels and keeps a $36 price target and Buy rating on the name.

Intuitive Surgical, Inc. (NASDAQ:ISRG): William Blair recommends using the recent weakness in shares of Intuitive Surgical to selectively buy the stock as its channel checks indicate the outlook for robotic surgery has never been stronger. The firm says that while Zytiga Phase II data in localized high]risk prostate cancer cases was encouraging, approval of the drug is likely years away. Further, William Blair believes Intuitive Surgical’s prostatectomy cases at risk from Zytiga will be 2%-4% of the company’s procedure base by the time the drug gets reimbursement approval. The firm keeps an Outperform rating on Intuitive Surgical shares.

Monster Beverage Corporation (NASDAQ:MNST): UBS notes that privately held Red Bull increased 2011 revenue by 12.4% and volumes by 11.4%. The firm said Red Bull’s results serve as a reminder that Monster has many more years of growth and that consensus out year estimates remain too low. Shares are Buy rated with a $82 price target.
