Analyst Insights: Amgen Outlook Positive, JCI at Outperform, Argus Rates Ericsson Buy

Amgen Inc. (NASDAQ:AMGN): Argus believes that Amgen reported solid Q4 results, and the firm reports that sales of the company’s new products, Prolia and XGEVA, accelerated sharply last quarter. The firm thinks that the company’s outlook is positive and maintains a Buy rating.

Johnson Controls Inc. (NYSE:JCI): Pacific Crest reduced its target on Johnson Controls, citing macro weakness. However, the firm still likes the company’s long-term outlook ,and believes that the company is gaining share in all of its markets. The firm maintains an Outperform rating on the stock.

LM Ericsson Telephone Co.(NASDAQ:ERIC): After Ericsson reported lower than expected Q1 revenue, Argus lowered its target on the stock to $14 from $19. However, the firm thinks that the company’s 2012 results should be boosted by more favorable carrier spending this year, and it maintains a Buy rating on the stock.

Glu Mobile, Inc.(NASDAQ:GLUU): Roth Capital is positive on Glu Mobile ahead of the Q4 report given its bullish near-term outlook and positive sector view. Shares are Buy rated with a $6 price target.

ACI Worldwide, Inc.(NASDAQ:ACIW): Yesterday, Mastercard (NYSE:MA) announced its EMV initiative to encourage merchants to upgrade its point of sale infrastructure to a new chip-based global standard. Janney expects ACI Worldwide to be a beneficiary of EMV adoption.
