Analysts: Google’s Price Target Lowered on Quarterly Reports and 3 More Research Notes to Leaf Through

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG): Argus has reduced its price target for Google to $875 from $1,065 following the company’s report of lower-than-expected second-quarter earnings per share. However, the firm remains upbeat on the stock and keeps a Buy rating on the shares.

Universal Display (NASDAQ:OLED): CSLA says that Universal Display continues to experience yield issues and that demand for LG’s (NYSE:LPL) Universal Display is poor.

VF Corp. (AMEX:VCF): Credit Suisse has downgraded VF Corp. to Neutral from Outperform following a second-quarter report. The firm cited tepid revenue growth, expectations for moderating gross margin benefits, and a balanced risk and reward profile as reasoning for its decision. The price target is $208, raised from $188.

Sonoco Products (NYSE:SON): Bank of America Merrill Lynch has rated Sonoco Products to Buy from Neutral. The firm expects volume and earnings momentum to return in key businesses in the second half of the year due to easier comps, a pickup in industrial tubes and cores, and new customer wins. The price target has also been raised, from $38 to $42.
