Intuitive Surgical (NASDAQ:ISRG): Janney Capital remains bullish on Intuitive Surgical following a meeting with management. The analyst came away with the impression that some of the delayed purchases in the second quarter could show up in later quarters if the centers in question see da Vinci volume growth. The firm said procedure volume trends remain healthy and encouraging outside of dVH procedure volumes and reiterates its Buy rating and $570 price target.
IPG Photonics (NASDAQ:IPGP): DA Davidson recommends buying IPG Photonics following recent China Flash PMI results and opportunities in the Japanese cutting market. The analyst said it confirmed management comments that the Amada and JDS Uniphase collaboration is not going well and that IPG Photonics could eventually sell its lasers to Amada.
Auxilium (NASDAQ:AUXL): Summer Street says it expects the Food and Drug Administration to reject Auxilium’s Xiaflex for Peyronie’s disease. The PDUFA date is September 6, and Xiaflex is already approved for Dupuytren’s contracture of the hand, the firm added. Summer Street believes Auxilium will need to run additional clinical trials.
Windstream (NASDAQ:WIN): After meeting with Windstream’s management, DA Davidson does not think the stock’s valuation accounts for the progress the company has made in morphing its model to business services. The firm reports that data center services are selling well, and it thinks the company’s fiber assets boost its appeal in this market. DA Davidson keeps a Buy rating on the stock.
