Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX): ITG Research’s analysis suggests Netflix’s third quarter domestic revenues are tracking to $917-$922 million versus the current consensus of $918 million. Domestic streaming revenues are approximately $699 million, in-line with consensus.
Ross Stores (NASDAQ:ROST): Buckingham encourages investors in Ross Stores to reduce their positions in the stock ahead of the company’s second quarter results — and walk away richer for it. The firm doesn’t expect the results to be a major catalyst and views the stock as fairly valued at current levels. It keeps a Neutral rating on the shares.
Sprint (NYSE:S): Goldman said recent strength in Sprint has been partially due to Softbank purchases and that further purchases may be limited. The analyst reiterates its Sell rating and expects the focus to return to Sprint’s challenging free cash flow and operating outlook, as well as premium valuation.
Allergan (NYSE:AGN): BMO Capital expects shares of Allergan to rise as much as 2-5 percent today after the company disclosed its response to the FDA’s draft guidance for generic Restasis. BMO calls Allergan’s response “compelling and robust” and said it would not be surprised to see an extended delay to generic entry to the 2015-plus period versus the consensus expectation of 2014. BMO has an Outperform rating on shares of Allergan with a $112 price target.
