Analysts: TripAdvisor’s Growth Outlook Positive and 3 More Research Notes to Check Out

TripAdvisor (NASDAQ:TRIP): Piper Jaffray believes TripAdvisor’s growth story remains intact despite deceleration in the third quarter. The firm attributes the mixed third quarter results to ‘volatile metasearch auction dynamics’ and keeps an Overweight rating on the stock with a slightly lowered price target of $82.

Angie’s List (NASDAQ:ANGI): Piper Jaffray believes the two issues hurting Angie’s List shares following its third quarter results are its membership growth and its advertising revenue guidance, but both appear short-term in nature, according to the firm. Piper views the post-earnings pullback as a buying opportunity, and reiterates an Overweight rating on the stock, with a price target of $29.

Green Mountain (NASDAQ:GMCR): Argus downgraded Green Mountain to Hold from Buy based on increased K-cup competition from single-serve packets, particularly from Kraft‘s Maxwell House, Whole Foods, and Peet‘s which are all focused on the price-conscious consumer; the firm lowered its fiscal year 2013 earnings per share estimate to $3.22 from $3.28 and its fiscal year 2014 estimate to $3.66 from $3.70.

Akamai (NASDAQ:AKAM): Oppenheimer believes that the conservative fourth quarter guidance on Akamai creates a buying opportunity. After Akamai reported stronger than expected third quarter results, the firm thinks the fundamentals of the company’s business and trends remain strong. Oppenheimer keeps an Outperform rating on the stock.
