Wal-Mart (NYSE:WMT): Research conducted by Jefferies suggests that despite a challenging start to the quarter, Wal-Mart’s sales have improved over the last couple of months. It believes that the shares will hold at current levels, or grow higher should management confirm its research when the Q1 results are reported. It keeps a Buy rating on Wal-Mart, with a $90 price target.
Visa (NYSE:V): After a meeting with Visa CEO Charlie Scharf, Deutsche Bank raised its price target for the company, from $177 to $196, and reiterated its Buy rating on the shares.
SolarCity (NASDAQ:SCTY): Valuation concerns have urged Credit Suisse to bring its rating down from Outperform to Neutral, although it raised its price target from $22 to $28. The firm also noted that Roth Capital also lowered its ratings this morning.
Kroger (NYSE:KR): Steady sales and earnings growth lend hope to Credit Suisse that Kroger shares can continue to climb higher, with a favorable industry backdrop. Shares are rated at Outperform.
