AT&T and Nokia to Launch New Smartphone at $99.99
AT&T’s (NYSE:T) 2012 roadmap indicates the telecommunications giant and Nokia (NYSE:NOK) will spend big bucks to promote the mid-March rollout of their new Nokia Lumia 900 smartphone, said a report from BGR Media, citing a trusted source.
The companies plan to price the Lumia 900 — Nokia’s first Windows Phone for AT&T — at only $99.99 with a two-year contract, according to the report, which could make it a very hot item. The launch is set for March 18.
The Lumia 900 features the same sleek design as the Lumia 800, launched last year, but is compatible with AT&T’s new 4G LTE network and has a larger 4.3-inch ClearBlack AMOLED display, said BGR.
