AT&T Joins FedEx with This Outlook for the U.S. Economy
AT&T (NYSE:T) CEO Randall Stephenson says he expects the US economy will stay the same as it was last year; meaning, crappy. He also says AT&T’s business services division will return with growth in the fourth quarter after a 4.1% decline in the second.
In regards to the prospective merger with T-Mobile, Stephenson told the conference “We do remain hopeful there may be some kind of solution that could address the DoJ concerns. The benefits of the deal are unchanged.”
AT&Ts stock (NYSE:T) is down 1.94% to $27.75 on the news. Shares are down 5.55% year to date. The stock has traded in a 52-week range between $27.20 and $31.94.
