AT&T Wins J.D. Power Customer Care Study and 2 Other Hot Stocks to Watch
AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T): Current price $35.70
AT&T wins the recently-completed J.D. Power 2013 U.S. Wireless Customer Care Full-Service Performance Study, which is coveted in its industry as an important prize and an opportunity for sell-promotion. AT&T spends millions of dollars promoting its network’s superiority over the ones built and operated by Verizon Communications Inc., Sprint Corp., and smaller rivals MetroPCS and T-Mobile. The manner in which J.D. Power measures customer care satisfaction is relatively complicated, but firms that win top honors in these studies are able promote their victories, typically for the one-year cycle between when survey results are released.
