Avery Dennison, ARM Holdings, StellarOne Corporation Announce Dividend Changes

Avery Dennison Corporation (NYSE:AVY): The board of Avery has increased its quarterly dividend. The board declared a quarterly dividend of 27c per share, reflecting a 2c, or 8%, increase over the previous quarterly dividend. The dividend is payable March 21 to shareholders of record on March 7.

ARM Holdings (NASDAQ:ARMH): Company directors recommend payment of a final dividend for 2011 of 2.09p, up 20%, which taken together with the interim dividend of 1.39p paid in October 2011, gives a total dividend in respect of 2011 of 3.48p, an increase of 20% on the total dividend of 2.90p in 2010. Subject to shareholder approval, the final dividend will be paid on May 18 to shareholders on the register on May 4.

StellarOne Corporation (NASDAQ:STEL) announced that its Board of Directors approved a quarterly cash dividend in the amount of 6c per share payable on Feb. 27, to shareholders of record as of Feb. 10. This dividend represents a 50% increase from the 4c quarterly dividend paid on Nov. 25, 2011 and the 4c dividend paid on Feb. 25, 2011. The payment represents an annual yield to shareholders of approximately 1.9% based on the closing price of StellarOne stock on Jan. 30, 2012.
