Baidu AFFECTED by Qihoo’s Performance and 4 Stock Analyses to Note

Baidu, Inc. (NASDAQ:BIDU): According to Oppenheimer, Qihoo’s (NYSE:QIHU) entry into the PC-based search market most likely showed a 7 percent reduction to Baidu’s (NASDAQ:BIDU) market share, but the firm believes that Baidu will regain some of the market share. The firm decided to lower its estimates on Baidu as it predicts continued pressure for the stock in the near-term. Oppenheimer reiterates a Perform rating but believes that the company’s long-term prospects seem to remain intact.

Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. (NYSE:ENH): According to Stifel Nicolaus, negativity toward Endurance Specialty due to the way the drought has effected crop insurance has made an attractive entry point. Stifel thinks that the 2012 crop underwriting loss of the company will continue to be in-line with the company’s $50 million estimate given in August , and the firm also views crop underwriting as an attractive business through the long term. The firm keeps its Buy rating and a $50 target on the stock.

MedAssets, Inc. (NASDAQ:MDAS) valuation range has been raised by Wells Fargo since the firm views the trends of the company’s revenue cycle management business as in the process of improving. The firm reiterates its Outperform rating on the stock.

CROCS Inc. (NASDAQ:CROX) future orders commentary is believed by Sterne Agee to be conservative, and the firm thinks that future growth remains intact. Shares have Buy rating.

BioDelivery Sciences International Inc. (NASDAQ:BDSI) target has been raised by Roth Capital after the company reported positive pharmacokinetic data in regards to its BNX treatment intended for opioid dependence.  If the company signs a partnership or files for approval of the drug, the firm believes that the stock may surpass its target. The firm keeps a Buy rating on the stock.
